Gerald bull

The artillery engineer worked for several Western countries, including his native Canada, before finding employment in the service of Saddam Hussein in 1988. The Iraqi leader wished Bull to supply him with a new weapon to strike fear into his foes - a “super gun”.

He was assassinated in 1990. Many blamed the Israelis for the hit, but there were others with reason to consider Bull and his work a threat.
